Dear reader,
The photo below was taken after Jonas proposed to me at the "Top of the
World" Restaurant in Stratosphere. Yes, it's true!! On
Friday he told me to pack my bags because he was going to take me
somewhere for the weekend and that we would leave the next day.
Sat. night he took me to that restaurant - which by the way is amazing,
it spins around so you get the full view of Vegas - and proposed to me
during dinner by taking my hand, asking if he could ask me a question,
then popped
the question and
showing me the ring between his fingers. Of course I said
yes!! We are both ecstatic right now.. and I needed this bliss
since lately I've been really feeling the fear, sadness, and loneliness
of leaving home.
I hope to see most if not all of my family and friends this Saturday at
my going away party - which can now also be thought of as our
engagement celebration. Oh, and in case you're wondering - we're
shooting to be financially ready to get married in July/August of
2008.
To all my family and friends, thank you in advance for all your love,
support, and best wishes. I'm busy packing and cleaning, but see
you Saturday and............call me if you want details =) !!!
